Arriving
It was a cloudy day in Massachusetss when I boarded the train in Boston. My flu had past and I was ready for the day ahead of me. Today was the day I performed in front of the celebrity Judges, Sharon Osborne, David Hasselhoff and Piers Morgan, and the live audience. I had my bags packed and I piled in the car. I arrived at the train station and boarded the train.
3 Hours Later
I arrived in New York, hoped in a taxi, and headed over to the New York New York Hotel. I was so excited for everything to happen today. I was ready with my audition song and I was ready with my newly found confidence. I wasn’t sure how anything was going to go down, but I didn’t care. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity and I was going to grab it and go.
I settled into my hotel threw on some PJs and mentally prepared myself for the following day. I remember thinking about every aspect of my performance. What was I going to say to the judges? What was I going to answer in my interviews? I was really nervous.
